SAE INSTITUTE TRAINS THE FUTURE OF MUSIC CITY
Prestigious International Audio Education School in Our Own Back-yard Opens its Facilities for Public Tours November 15th.

NASHVILLE, TN, November 09, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Take a walk down 16th avenue, and you'll find the heart of Music City. With hundreds of recording studios and renowned record labels at each step, the overwhelming need to equip these businesses with top-notch and technically trained professionals is great. Enter SAE Institute and its hands-on way of educating the future of Music City, and if you want to see how, SAE Nashville is having an open house on November 15th, from 2pm to 5pm.

SAE Institute has a long history. Founded in 1976 in Sydney, Australia, SAE Institute has quickly grown in respect and reach with over 50 campuses in more than 24 countries. Nashville is one of six North American campuses and boasts a success rate of placing 87 percent of their graduates in industry jobs. It does so not only by giving its students access to industry standard consoles and beautiful tracking rooms, but by continually going beyond curriculum by getting students into sessions with great engineers and producers.

"One thing that SAE strives to do is give our students access." Explains SAE Nashville Director, Prema Thiagarajah. "Studio owners here in Nashville want to hire people who have session experience; people who know how to act and react in the studio. The only way to teach that is to get students into their own sessions, and couple that with classes and seminars with great engineers and producers so they know what it's like out there in the industry."

One such engineer and producer who knows what it's like is Chris Trevett. Chris's discography is a who's who including Aaliyah, Britney Spears, R. Kelly, and Erikah Badu - and on November 13th he will be at SAE Nashville working with students. As recently was Greg Kreugar, a renowned sound designer for Disney in Europe and the USA who demonstrated and shared how he completes his astounding mixes. SAE Institute uses its resources to expose its students to the diversity and talent that exists in the world of audio. SAE brings the industry inside the school so that when students graduate they're ready to work within it.

SAE Institute in Nashville gives its students this unique access to industry, knowledge and technology within a learning environment of 15,000 square feet and over 20 studios and workstations. SAE properly equips students with the tools they will need for success in the highly competitive music business. Offering real hands-on experience combined with a breadth of advanced programs and job placement assistance gives these future audio geniuses the necessary edge.

The "Nashville Sound" constantly shifts and music production and engineering technology rapidly changes, however left in the hands of SAE Institute's capable and well equipped graduates, the future of Music City is a bright one indeed.
