Venture Finance Rallies Support for Accountancy Skills in Rwanda
Premier Invoice Finance and Asset Based Lender Venture Finance, who this month celebrate their 20th anniversary, is proud to announce its support for employee Glyn Edbrooke, who is due to embark on a three-month charity sabbatical in Rwanda.

HAYWARDS HEATH, WEST SUSSEX, February 12, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In February, Management Accountant Glyn will be flying to Africa to work on behalf of Children's Care and Protection in Rwanda (CCPRWA), teaching local community members basic accountancy skills.

The team at Venture has rallied around in support of Glyn's journey. Over the last few months the company has raised funds on dress down donations and prize raffles. So far the money raised will pay for two students to attend a two-year course at school and one month's breakfast for pre-school children. In addition, Venture Finance will be covering the cost of Glyn's insurance for the trip.

Glyn Edbrooke said: "Having already spent a couple of weeks in Rwanda it's clear that there is no shortage of ability among Rwandans, but it's the lack of expert knowledge and guidance that can hold them back. Knowing that I have Venture's full support behind me has been wonderful and I hope that I can bring back a number of new skills, to my current role."

CCPRWA provides support, care and education to underprivileged children of all ages in the region. Glyn was introduced to CCPRWA and the opportunity through 2Way Development, an organisation that tailor-makes volunteer placements to match skills to the needs of the charities.
