Janice Johnson has 18 years of professional experience, 11 of which have been in her position at Shawnee State University where she excels in e-commerce, website design, office information systems, virtual world creation, and business systems. An interest in computers and teaching prompted her to become involved in her profession, and she considers developing an e-commerce degree path at Shawnee State University to be the highlight of her career.

In addition to her career in education, Ms. Johnson is a talented writer, having penned over 20 fictional pieces that include poems, short stories and novels. She is also an avid conservationist and is responsible for two wildlife habitat projects, which are certified by the National Wildlife Federation.
