Stay in Kuta for Knowledge Discovery Conference
The resort of Kuta could provide accommodation for people attending the Knowledge Discovery conference in March.

KUTA, INDONESIA, February 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bali will soon be welcoming some of the world's top researchers, engineers and academics to the island for the International Conference on Knowledge Discovery.

Taking place from March 19th to 21st, the event could be the reason for many people booking Kuta hotels over the next few weeks.

The event follows the success of the 2009 conference, which was held in Manila, Philippines in June 2009.

According to the event's website, the conference is the "premier forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of knowledge discovery".

Several keynote speakers have been confirmed for the event, including Professor Wang Jun of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Professor Donald Wunsch, who is based at the Missouri University of Science & Technology.

The final date of submission for papers to the conference has already passed, but attendees can expect topics such as statistical methods, web-based intelligence and knowledge management to feature on the agenda.

People attending the Knowledge Discovery conference may use the event as an opportunity to explore other areas of Bali, such as the popular beach resort of Seminyak and Ubud, the island's cultural centre.
