Hybrid Auto Sales Company, Ft. Myers Toyota "The Family Store," is hosting the Ft. Myers Fire Academy to promote Hybrid vehicle education for first responders to be held at the Ft. Myers Toyota New Car Service Center on May 17, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.

FT. MYERS, FL, May 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ft. Myers Toyota, a hybrid auto sales company, will host the Ft. Myers Fire Academy for an educational event in Hybrid vehicle design and technology. The event will be held at the Ft. Myers Toyota Service Center on May 17, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. Its aim is to educate emergency responders about hybrid design, function and safety features. This useful in depth look will assist emergency responders during accident, crash or rescue operations.

Two instructors and 12 students from the Ft. Myers Fire Academy will attend. Ft. Myers Toyota staff will give walk-a-rounds to demonstrate the various features of the hybrids, and there will be a technical presentation by a master technician to further familiarize emergency responders with the vehicle's structure and systems.
