Ms. Gillespie has more than 30 years of overall professional experience. As a senior nursing instructor, she is responsible for teaching nursing students, assisting the faculty, and engaging the students with their curriculum and helping students achieve their highest level of academic and professional potential.

In 1974, Ms. Gillespie earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from North Carolina A&T State University. She received the Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award in 2010 from the nursing department at Brown Mackie College.
