WACO, TX, October 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gita P. Thamban, Adjunct Librarian and Library Technician for McLennan Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in research and PowerPoint presentation.

As an adjunct librarian and library technician for McLennan Community College, Gita P. Thamban works with other technicians and is responsible for overseeing 150 library computers, assisting students with homework assignments by helping them find articles and properly utilize computer hardware and software. She became involved in her profession through her educational background, and she attributes her success to her hard work and determination.

Ms. Thamban received her Master's Degree in Health Informatics and Library Science from the University of North Texas in 2010, her Master's Degree in Educational Technology from The University of Texas at Brownsville, TX, her Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from an Indian university, and her Associate Degree in Computer Technology with a concentration in Database Management and Software Applications in 1997.
