TRAVERSE CITY, MI, June 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Roger R. Faulmann, Retired Band Director for DNA, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in music education.
Roger Faulmann has enjoyed a distinguished career in music education spanning 40 years, 22 of which were at the collegiate level. His bachelor's degree was earned at Baldwin-Wallace College where he was a student of Cloyd Duff, Timpanist and Principal Percussionist, Cleveland Orchestra. His master's degree was completed at the University of Michigan and further graduate work was done at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. He has taught music, elementary through graduate school, in Michigan, Illinois, and Florida where he recently retired from the Dade County Public Schools as Director of Bands at Arvida Middle School. Faulmann has authored 22 publications, is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in American Education, and Who's Who Among America's Teachers. As a clinician he has presented instrumental music and percussion workshops throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. He currently resides in Naples and Traverse City, Michigan and continues to be an active adjudicator for the Florida Bandmasters.
