Bick Oodhican Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Bick Oodhican has been a technical studies teacher at New Dimensions High School for six years
SAINT CLOUD, FL, August 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bick Oodhican, Technical Studies Teacher at New Dimensions High School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
With 44 years of professional experience, Mr. Oodhican attributes his success to the inspiration he received from his uncle, who was an educator. As a technical studies teacher, he teaches technology studies and drafting to students, engages students with additional projects, prepares them for the school and college ability test, conducts assessments, and organizes parents-teacher conferences. He also served as a teacher in Guyana, the British Virgin Islands and New York Public Schools.
Mr. Oodhican earned his Master of Science in Education in 1995, his Master of Science in Technology in 1993, and his certification in supervision, administration and education, from the City College of New York. He became a certified teacher through the Cyril Potter College of Education, and a certified professional in teaching and supervision through the New York Board of Education. Additionally, he is a licensed teacher in the State of Florida.
In 1990, Mr. Oodhican received the Robin Kaiser Award for Technical Education from the City College of New York. He received the Best Graduating Teacher Award from Cyril Potter College of Education in Technical Studies in 1968, and is a member of the United Federation of Teachers and the National Education Association.
